Cylindrical, complex cylindrical, spherical glasses and glasses with special shapes (V, J, S, and ct) can be tempered by using the same system while maintaining an excellent optical quality because during the curvature and tempering process, no part (e.g. rollers, spheres, etc.) is in contact with the glass. Moreover the system ensures an extremely high repeatability level of the pieces because the system moulds each piece with the same shape.

The tempering and cooling section has been developed as a module which can be added to an oscillating (KFO) or continuous (KCF) tempering system at a later time too.
