This summer, bring quality outdoors.

From glass to aluminium profiles: Keraglass, Mappi, Emmegi and elumatec complete Voilàp Group’s production chain for outdoor structures.

This summer, bring quality outdoors.

Patios, pergolas, tensile structures: the Voilàp Group covers the entire production chain, from Keraglass and Mappi glass tempering and lamination systems to Emmegi and elumatec CNC machining centres for aluminium profiles. One family of machines, one complete solution.

Outdoors is the new indoors

With the arrival of summer, the most ambitious projects in the window, door and curtain wall industry come to life: sliding systems that open entire glazed façades to the outdoors, curtain walls that maximise natural light without compromising the view, and aluminium structures for pergolas and tensile structures that extend living spaces beyond the building envelope. This is the building envelope market at its most contemporary—and it demands machinery that can meet the challenge.

For manufacturers of these systems, summer is not a season of downtime: it is the peak production period. Voilàp has developed a complete solution for this market, starting with glass.

When glass becomes structural

At the heart of every outdoor structure is a transparent enclosure: sliding glass walls for patios, glazed roofs for tensile structures, and curtain walls that define the boundary between indoors and outdoors.

Keraglass and Mappi, two Voilàp Group companies specialising in glass processing technologies, design and manufacture machinery that transforms glass into high-performance structural components. Their solutions include advanced tempering and lamination technologies developed to meet the industry's highest standards.

Vision and ATS: uncompromising tempering quality

Keraglass Vision and Mappi ATS product lines include oscillating furnaces for flat glass tempering, available in different configurations to meet the needs of manufacturers of all sizes. Every model is built around the same design philosophy: minimise thermal energy loss, optimise the heating process, and deliver outstanding optical quality in tempered glass.

A highly efficient convection system, combined with Industry 4.0-ready control software, makes Voilàp Group tempering furnaces suitable for every application sector—including architecture and outdoor structures, where the transparency and strength of safety tempered glass are essential requirements.

Combi, Lamix and LammiFlex: versatile lamination, even for special shapes

When outdoor structures require laminated glass—such as tensile structure roofs, sloped canopies or curved architectural elements—static lamination furnaces come into play, with the Combi, Lamix and LammiFlex models.

Each model offers different features, configurations and investment levels, and is designed to laminate glass of varying sizes, shapes and thicknesses, both flat and curved. These solutions also enable the production of glass/marble and glass/ceramic combinations, ensuring optimal material drying and offering a level of production flexibility rarely found among the solutions currently available on the market.

Deluxe: high productivity for large-scale production

For manufacturers handling large orders where downtime is not an option, Keraglass offers the Deluxe lamination line.

This configurable automatic line laminates glass using PVB, SGP and SentryGlas interlayers. It features a preheating furnace, heating furnace, dual pressing rollers, transport systems and buffer stations that eliminate idle time and maximise productivity.

The ability to combine both infrared radiation and convection in the preheating and heating furnaces enables the processing of Low-E glass, covering the entire range of architectural glazing applications. Available in several sizes, the line can process large-format sheets up to jumbo dimensions, making it ideal for curtain walls and large glazed roofs.

Aluminium profiles? Emmegi and elumatec take care of them

A well-designed outdoor structure is more than glass: it is the combination of a transparent enclosure and a precision-machined aluminium frame.

For this stage of the production process, Voilàp offers Emmegi and elumatec CNC machining centres. Emmegi's +Quadra machining centre and Satellite XTE-XLE line provide the ideal solution for manufacturing patios and pergolas, offering multi-face machining, fully automatic production cycles and hidden-time operations.

For tensile structures, where larger sections and tighter tolerances are required, the elumatec SBZ 145 machining centre delivers absolute precision on large aluminium profiles, with automatic tool management and clamp positioning.

From profile cutting to the finished glazed structure: everything under one roof, everything by Voilàp.

There is no off-season when you're equipped for it

The outdoor structures market is increasingly moving towards bespoke, premium design solutions where the quality of the finished product makes all the difference.

For manufacturers operating in this segment, having the right machinery is not simply an advantage—it is the foundation of success. Voilàp provides the technologies to achieve it, from glass processing to aluminium profile machining, with solutions designed to meet the demands of every outdoor application.

So while people enjoy summer outdoors, the structures that make those moments possible—patios, curtain walls and tensile structures—embody the quality and precision of those who built them without compromising on a single detail.

Voilàp is there, even when you don't see it.
